In 2003, I helped create the look and feel of Woodbury Magazine, an upscale lifestyle publication based on Long Island’s affluent North Shore. With a circulation of 10,000, this sexy magazine is geared toward affluent young mothers ages 28 to 55 with editorial covering fashion, food, family, health, beauty, travel, decor and more.
Aside from designing and art directing, I built its media kit, worked with custom photography and chose appropriate stock art images, designed multiple layouts for the editor’s choosing, assisted in arranging the most effective ad space, crafted email blasts to promote the magazine and events, created all collateral materials for the three charity events per year and more.
In December 2011, I left to branch out on my own. I’m quite proud of my work there – my designs were well showcased on the 9.625″ x 13.5″ high-gloss, heavyweight stock.
